This year Lambda Chi will be hosting our 1st annual Pumpkin Bash, an event which is a part of the North American Food Drive.   It is a competition amongst sororities involving a variety of events using, you guessed it, pumpkins.  Some examples are a relay race, pumpkin toss, bowling, and tug of war as well as a carving contest and pumpkin pie cook off.  The most important part of the event is can collection since it is a part the food drive.  Points will be awarded for the first three places in each event and there are prizes for the total points winner and the team that collects the most food items.

The event will take place on Wednesday, November 5th from 5-7.  We will be grilling out for all of the participants, so don’t worry about missing dinner.  Teams will each have 10 people, though some events do not use the whole team.  It would be great if each sorority could enter at least two teams, but more are certainly welcome.  The registration fee is $15 per person, which includes a t-shirt, and all of it will go towards purchasing products for the food drive.
