LXA 2017 Homecoming

Welcome Back Brothers one and all! Check out for information about where your reunion class is meeting Friday night.

The TTAA Homecoming meeting will be on the 1st floor of Greene Hall, room 145. From 10:00 AM-11:00 AM we will have breakfast and then meeting following.

Hi all,

I hope each of you is well since we last convened. Fortunately, Homecoming is just two short weeks away!

On behalf of myself, Frank McNally, Bill Williamson, John Dockery, Jay Triplett, and Michael Ferretti, we would like to encourage you to join us for our annual Homecoming Theta-Tau Alumni Association meeting, followed by a tailgate at Frank's usual location across from Bridger Field House.

Our meeting will be held at 10:00 AM sharp on Sat., Sept. 16 in the Greene Academic Building on the Magnolia Quad, Room 145. We will have brothers stationed in the entrances of the building to direct you to the room. We will also have an assortment of Bojangles, Krispy Kreme, and juices & coffee for those who arrive hungry.

Please feel free to reach out to myself or any of those I mentioned above should you have any questions about the day's events. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you back at Mother, So Dear on Sept. 16.

Saturday, March 18, Lambda Chi will be participating in Wake Forest's annual 12-hour dance marathon, Wake 'N Shake.
All proceeds go to the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund. As in past years, we have multiple brothers on the executive board:

• Michael Hanamirian - Overall Co-chair
• Graham Gilliam - Corporate Sponsor Co-chair
• Ray Villani - Tech Specialist Chair
• Garret Barnes - Marketing Co-Chair
• Alex Macre - Hospitality Co-Chair

Last year, as a fraternity, we raised just about $12,000. The event raised about $284,000 in total, led by 2016 LXA alum Colin Johnson! This year, the fraternity is shooting for at least $15,000. To help us out with that goal, we are reaching out to LXA alumni. A donation, no matter how big or small, would mean a lot to the fraternity. The fraternity that raises the most money for this year's WNS will have a letter of recognition sent to Internationals from the school in addition to smaller perks such as a pizza party.

This year, we dance for a LXA alum that is very dear to all of us, Fritts Biesecker. The amount of time Fritts has devoted to our Zeta is innumerable and we are forever grateful for his leadership and passion for LXA. As many of you know, Fritts has been battling cancer over the past few years and we thought, as a chapter, this would be the year where we all dance for him! Our commitment to dance for 12 hours provides a strong sense of hope for Fritts as he continues his treatments that this horrible disease will one day be eliminated.

Again, thank you for your consideration. Below is the fraternity's link:

Generous Donations

Thank you for your generous donations to the fraternity page. It was a record day for Wake N Shake! We had over 1400 dancers, raised $334,000 (broke the previous record by $50k!), and our fraternity raised a Fraternity Division high of $16,000! Pictured are the 5 LXAs on the executive team. Could not be happier that our hard work will one day pay off for Fritts and other people fighting this disease.

The Theta Tau Chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha

We believe in Lambda Chi Alpha and its traditions, principles, and ideals. The crescent is our symbol: pure, high, ever growing. And the cross is our guide: denoting service, sacrifice, and even suffering and humiliation before the world, bravely endured if need be, in following that ideal.

About the Theta Tau Chapter at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Founded originally as Theta Kappa Nu — Beta Chapter, Lambda Chi Alpha — Theta Tau is Wake Forest University's most esteemed and respected campus fraternity with a long and fascinating history. Theta Tau currently has over 60 active Brothers, many who hold prominent leadership positions on campus in organizations such as student government and Wake 'N Shake. Theta Tau members maintain some of the highest GPAs amongst the on-campus fraternities. Most importantly, we have the closest brotherhood on campus. If you ask any Brother, he will tell you that Theta Tau, more so than any other organization, is where he has forged the strongest bonds and the fondest memories of his college career. These bonds are the foundation of the strong network of alumni we have across the country.
